Did you actually TEST the stand-by and talk time, or just believe what their marketing dept. put on a web site? How many of them were standby w/ the WiFi on? G2.5 v. G3? GPS? These make a huge difference, and there is a reason while even today, if I am traveling I bring a spare battery for even a ONE DAY trip (of course, my batteries are getting old, but my G1 has had battery issues since day 1!). How much video playback? Can you get to the end of a movie on a flight and still have enough juice to call a cab?

It would also be very helpful to include the G1 as the "reference". It also is important to consider the data input features. While I don't enjoy typing in full length documents w/ my G1, I can, but only because of the keyboard. I am NOT going back to a phone which does not have a full slide-out keyboard (esp. after the PITA that the Blackberry Perl turned out to be).

When you do reviews, you have to cite your sources. It is great you took the time to pull this info from other sources, but if you do it RIGHT it is much more helpful. Cheers

Does talk time include using network features or other applications on the phone? If not, then that needs to be an additonal category as the Android OS has a rich market of applications. My expereince is that I get about 5 hours or so (not a timed quote...so that is not precise) reading ebooks, surfing, using facebook and listening to music via Pandora.

Is my assessment correct that GSM capable phones are more likely to go viral? If that is the case, is the Droid Incredible GSM capable? I would really like to see it added to the T-Mobile line of phones. I think it is the #1 phone by far. The only thing I'm not sure of is of it's flash capabilities.

Instead of the Eris, I would have chosen the Hero. Since the Eris is one of three flavors of the Hero, it makes more sense. You have the CDMA Hero for Sprint, the Droid Eris on Verizon which just has a different body, and the original GSM version which is a different body, and different radio. Also, I was disappointed that the Evo wasn't even mentioned. It is a Nexus One on steroids. Large screen, 4G, Snapdragon, HDMI out, 8 MP 720p camera with dual led flash, etc. Other than that, this list is actually really good.

If you talk about android then i have only used it on T- Mobile G1 .
Here are my impressions about T- mobile G1 phone:-
G1 slide out QWERTY keyboard, support for the fast 3G networks, GPS and Bluetooth technology, offers a number of free apps through Android Market and much more. The compass mode works absolutely well, spin it in any direction it will move fine.
The phone of my dreams, I have it for a while now and it is still in really good condition.
