The key is when they hit 40-inch or larger. If they really hit the 2012 time frame, that's great!

By 2016, who knows. There might be a newer technology that is quicker to get production ramped up and cheaper to produce.

As an LG retailer and with a reasonable amount of experience in this sector I can say with some certainty that this will happen before 2016. Market forces yes, but more importantly the requirement for a financial return on the technology by manufacturers befor they have to reinvent the wheel with th advent of 3D TV.

oled prices will be lower then lcd in 2016 which is too long time i think both advantage and disadvantage.
