Dude where's the Samsung Rogue in this article!!!!
  • Michael · 1 month ago
The Samsung Rogue is not a smartphone. Verizon calls it an enhanced phone. That's their way to justify an additional monthly charge of 10.00 or 19.99 to download data. I love the phone by the way.

Why no N97? the N97 is a true smart phone and does more than any of these handsets...I accept the UI is poor in comparison to android etc. but c'mon; you have to be smart to operate the N97, and if you're smart enough to know how to get the most out of it, its far superior to any other smartphone. If you're prepared to compromise functionality for aesthetics then the Hero and iPhone are the pick.

i don't really know much about this, but i think the point of a smart phone is that anyone can use it easily......even "non-smart" people like me,lol!!!!

How is the Envy 3 not a smartphone?
  • Joe1229 · 2 months ago
It doesn't have the capabilities of a smartphone, trust me, and besides, it would be under Smartphones category on verizonwireless.com, it's under phones

You are truly retarded joe1229, you can download apps that will view documents etc..
  • Joe1229 · 2 months ago
You don't have to be so mean about it, look on the website, it isn't a smartphone
  • Bill · 2 months ago
He's right. I believe VZW refers to this as a "feature phone" aka still a dumb phone but definitely one of VZW's better dumb phones.

I think the Blackberry Tour is pretty cool.

Surprised the Nokia N97 didn't make the list.
  • Muliadi Jeo · 2 months ago
Actually, I think Nokia N900 should make to the list. It got all the hype and good response from the users.
  • Ian Bell · 2 months ago
Good call, we will add that one too.

  • Ian Bell · 1 month ago
Two separate phones. The Hero is on Verizon too, not T-Mobile
  • Peeing in the Wind · 1 month ago

All are a distant 2nd to the iphone. Trust me, not a mac fanboy, just a guy that's tried the rest and knows the best. Sorry for the lame rhyme there. Seriously though, the iphone shouldn't even be discussed here. It is in a category by itself.
